Even in the bleakness of a dark winter we dream of warmer days. Days where we can peel off our winter coats, hats, and gloves and jump into our bathing suits and take a trip to the beach. Flat Abs Fast Exercise 1: Tailbone Lift
This is a simple to learn ab exercise called the tailbone lift. All you do is lie on your back with your arms extended straight over your head. Then lift your tailbone off the ground for a brief second and lower it slowly without it ever hitting the ground. Shoot for 3 sets of 15 reps.
Flat Abs Exercise 2: Crunch
This is just a normal crunch procedure but be sure to perform the crunch properly and not to risk hurting yourself in doing so. The correct way to do a crunch is to lie on the ground with your knees bent and lift your back off the ground just slightly. All you need to do is bring your back up enough so your abs contract then bring it back down and relax.
FYI: A thousand ab crunches a day will not bring you flat abs fast. In fact, if you are doing the crunches the right way, you shouldn’t ever be able to do more than 20 a time. Shoot for 3 sets of 20.
Flat Abs Exercise 3: Cross Body Crunch
Lye in the same position as if you were going to do a crunch but have one hand at the side of your head. When you come up to contract your abs, crunch towards the opposite side of the body where your hand is and take that hand and physically touch the opposite side of your body. Bring your hand back to your head on the way down. Do a set of 15 then repeat the move to the other side. Do 2 sets.
These three ab exercises are just a part of what you need to do to gain flat abs fast. You will have to add plenty of cardio to your routine in order to burn off excess fat. Using squats and dead lifts will help shed fat from the stomach area as well.
